Product Customization Enables Saddle Hill's Growth
Saddle Hill is a small, family-owned business that makes custom-ordered jewelry and business cards. What started in a home office in 2013, soon grew into a company needing a way to fulfill the number of orders being received.
One of the biggest hold-ups in completing orders revolved around the amount of time spent redesigning customer orders. In Saddle Hill’s current business model, customers would submit a logo and the card information and staff would redesign the card. This process caused a constant back and forth of communication between staff and customers. Instead of focusing on building the company, Saddle Hill spent most of their day calling customers to verify orders.
Looking for a way to easily create custom orders, Saddle Hill found Artifi Labs. Hosting the product configurator on their site allowed clients to interactively design business cards themselves.
With the launch of Artifi Labs, Saddle Hill experienced significant growth in sales. The staff workload changed from primarily completing customer service tasks to running a business and fulfilling orders. Having the time to focus on building up the company, Saddle Hill expanded the their team of two significantly and had the capital to invest in new printers.
